Corazonadas is an exhibition that reflects on the complexities of romantic bonds and the emotional shifts that define them: desire, heartbreak, insecurity, surrender, and fragility. Through a deeply intimate visual narrative, the show explores the nuances inherent in the affective experiences that, in one way or another, we all inhabit.

A contemporary scene—almost mythological—starring a digital-era Adam and Eve reminiscent of any dating app, sits alongside the image of a brittle branch in combustion. This visual metaphor of fleeting love embodies the volatility of connections in a present marked by immediacy and constant transformation.

In the triptych Corazonada (Hunch), the romantic relationship is depicted as a turbulent emotional landscape. Plants, far from being mere decorative elements, emerge as witnesses and protagonists: sentient beings that absorb the pain, doubts, and silences of the bodies. They equal—or even surpass—the human figure in presence, becoming the symbolic foundation upon which the emotional narrative is built.

For its part, Esperanza (por compasión) [Hope (out of compassion)] presents a heart that, despite its hardening, is forced to show signs of vitality. Colorful branches sprout from its flesh, almost violently embedded, as an allegory of the pressure to maintain the illusion of joy while the numbness of recent pain still persists.
